The Creative Studio York is an independent ceramics studio on the outskirts of York.

We offer services for both complete beginner's and seasoned veterans so I am sure we will have something for you!

The studio facilities include 3 potters wheels and a large kiln. We offer a great space for members to work, pop in sessions, workshops and firing.

 

Membership -

The studio offers membership for those looking for space to work, this is available to anyone who is confident in working with clay.

 

Memberships numbers are limited so contact us today to see our availability.

 

The membership includes use of the wheels, personal storage space  and community firing.  

 

Our membership costs £100 per month, if you are interested in this please contact me and I can give you more information! 

 

Pop in sessions -

These are pre booked only and great for anyone wanting to get creative with clay no matter the skill level.  The sessions are 10-12.30 Tuesdays and Fridays and cost £25-30pp. 

 

Firing -

Firing is available for work brought into the studio.  This can be done by the kiln load £100.00 or shelf £20.00. we are happy to fire earthenware, stoneware, for anything else please enquire. 

Firing drop off can be arranged.

 

Workshops -

workshops can include wheelwork, hand building and sculpture, even drawing  please keep a look out for any new workshop dates announced.
